AI Vision Hub for Marine Industries

University of Liverpool is working with Yonder Cloud Limited to accelerate our digital future with an AI Vision Hub for Maritime Industries.


Artifical Intelligence (AI) is fast delivering rapid innovation to augment human and accelerate innovation. Computer Vision is one such area of AI that delivers proven accuracy beyond human capabilities to increase process effectiveness across many industries.


Investment costs across people and computing platforms to deliver a valuable accuracy level are unachievable for many SMEs. The project will create a hub/marketplace for pre-trained and validated algorithms focused on a range of Maritime and Marine use cases, where SMEs can license access to the algorithms to be integrated into their business processes.
