Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition - Round 2

In partnership with the Department for Transport, Innovate UK hosted its round 2 briefing event on the 9th of June for the Clean Maritime competition. With £12 million available for investment in innovative feasibility studies and pre-deployment projects, the competition is part of a package launched by UK SHORE with the goal to transform the UK into a world leader in clean maritime tech.


Building on the great success of the first CMDC, this briefing was a perfect introduction into the scope of the competition and provided the opportunity for interested parties to network with potential partners. Speakers at the event included Bilaal Takoliya and Joe Boyland of DfT as well as James Lovett and Fanni Byrne of Innovate UK, alongside a range of 2 minute pitches from delegates in attendance.
